What Users Say About Bigin & HubSpot

HubSpot — User Reviews

“We use HubSpot to run two different pipelines split across a Sales Pro and Core seat subscription. Retargeting workflows are the part that's actually earned its keep, once a deal goes quiet we can get something back in front of the client fast. Seat structure is worth checking before you buy! Core seats can't own a scheduling page or sit in a round robin, we only found that out once we were mid-setup and had to rearrange who had what. (Annoying, but a one-time annoying.) Reporting's fine once both pipelines are actually configured right, which took a bit of fiddling on our end more than anything HubSpot did wrong. If you're a firm with more than one type of client journey, it beats running three separate tools. Overall, it has simplified our workflow and we have grown since implementing automations.”
“HubSpot has become the central nervous system for my sales operations, managing and organizing my attempts to close deals while tracking phone calls and email correspondence with potential clients. The platform excels at unifying these communication channels with pipeline management. For my daily workflow, the email integrations are indispensable. They automatically track message delivery and read status, eliminating guesswork regarding follow-up timing. When a deal progresses in the pipeline, corresponding email threads update automatically, requiring no manual logging. This creates a complete audit trail of customer interactions. The Kanban-style deals pipeline provides immediate visual clarity. Drag-and-drop functionality allows instant assessment of pipeline health, while the task scheduling system converts vague follow-up intentions into concrete, tracked actions. Setting a task with a future due date ensures critical touchpoints are never overlooked. The VoIP phone integrations log incoming and outgoing calls as activities within the relevant deal pipeline, providing full context before any sales interaction. However, I must note that the quoting and billing features are surprisingly obtrusive. It takes entirely too many clicks to generate simple quotes or invoices, which is frustrating during fast-paced sales cycles. The pricing structure also presents a catch-22. The free tier is genuinely generous for small operations, but as we grew, the costs escalated dramatically. When we hit that growth threshold, the platform's value proposition shifted from "nice-to-have" to "must-have," but the price jump was steeper than expected. For me, HubSpot is an operational platform that I've embedded into my daily workflow. Its value depends on how deeply I use it; I've found it indispensable for tracking my communications. The quoting and billing limitations, combined with the steep pricing ramp-up, are the only real drawbacks I've encountered.”
“We use HubSpot to manage incoming leads, track client conversations, and keep our sales pipeline organised. As we work with multiple clients across web development, SEO, and digital marketing, having a central place for follow-ups has reduced missed opportunities and improved our response times. The automation features also save our team time on repetitive tasks, allowing us to focus more on delivering projects and building client relationships.”
